When the Amalekites raided the Negev and Ziklag. They pugnaciously tore Ziklag to pieces and then burnt it down (That will not be our portion in Nigeria,Amen).
They captured all the women, young and old and whisked them unknown destination. They didn’t kill anyone, but drove them like a herd of cattle. By the time David and his men entered the vi...llage, it had been burnt to the ground, and their wives, sons, and daughters were all taken as prisoners.
The people were sincerely grieved and thought of STONING David for the insecurity lapse...BUT David took the following steps having cried his strenght out-
1. He Encouraged himself in the Lord!
Courage is not absence of fear but graceful boldness to confront mountains!Courage is God's graceful spirit that enables you to face danger or pain without showing fear.
In the Lord,we can find courage to confront all forms of social ills bedeviling our dear nation.#Be Courageous!
2.He Consulted God not security chiefs that may have even connived with the raiders...not foreign assistance cos he knew that vain is the help of man.Ps.108:12,Ps.60:11,Prov.3:
Friends,PROTEST propels responsible government to act but we must never shift our focus from God who can make THINGS happen! #InGodwemusttrust!
3. David Inquired from God not from Satelite Dish!
God knows every detail about the 234 Girls that were alledgedly abducted by the Amalekish Boko Haram insurgents!The Lord of Hosts will deliver them in Jesus name!#ChannelyourinquiriestoGod!
4.David and four hundred men KEPT UP THE PURSUIT, but two hundred of them were too fatigued to cross the Brook Besor, and stayed there.David was physically involved..We do hope that Mr.President (#GoodluckJonathan) like David would exude davidic bravery!#BEBRAVE!
5.God used an Egyptian slave of an Amalekite to orchestrate Total Recovery!
Well,thank God for the Nigerian Armed Forces,SSS,Police and other security outfits in Nigeria but the FG can't do without Divine Intelligence!God can use anything or anyone to reveal,divulge or expose the whereabouts of our beloved Chibok Girls but we are specially trusting him to deplore Angelic Armies to rescue these guiltless captives because it appears Nigerian host is helpless!
